Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge 107

Hello there! We have a new sketch this week from DT member Tosh for Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge 107!

I just got some of my new stamps in last weekend but was too busy with other DT posts to use them. I grabbed my first chance to with this challenge. I used a new release from WMS My Island.

I was reminded of the beach when I first saw this set. So I wanted a bit of a nautical feel to my card without it being too obvious. I dry embossed my background and inked it with white pigment ink. It came with the idea of a beach house feel.

Whenever I think of any nautical themes, neutral colors come to mind. Perhaps a little splash of color but mostly neutrals. My splash of color was my main image. I die cut this note pad page and stamped in images from My Island on it as well as the sentiment. I also added fabric and a button that reminded me of a nautical theme. I know I should have added more to my "nautical" theme, but I wanted to keep things simple and focus on the images from the new stamp set.

Upload your creations over at the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge blog until next Friday! You have a chance to win a WMS stamp set of your choice! I would love to see what you make of this sketch. See you there! :)
