Sorry I've been away a bit. I was catching up on my tv shows. (guilty!) The weather is starting to become much nicer and I was imagining how wonderful spring was going to be. I had that in my mind while I was making this card for CASE Study Challenge 132. I was also munching on some apples, and they just happened to make it to "cover page" of my post. haha. :) It's also based on this gorgeous card from our March Muse, Julie Ebersole!
I was inspired by the butterflies on Julie's card and placed a few on my card as well. I also made a cute little spring background. I saw this color combination somewhere in Pinterest. Sorry, I should remember to give proper credit to images that inspire me, it's just that there's SO many. lol. I'll try better next time though.
MATERIALS: Mini Blooms, Folk Art Label 25, Beautiful Spring, Butterfly Kisses.
I just sprayed a whole bunch of leaves and flowers to make the background of my card. Then I adhered a little belly band around it before I adhered a label over it. I stamped the butterflies and hand cut them and adhered them with foam tape.
I hope you'll join us this week for another round of CASE Study Challenge. This was such a fun card to make. Tell me what you think ok? Mini Blooms is my fave stamp set to date. I haven't been able to put it down. You'll probably be seeing more of it on my cards so I hope you don't mind. :)
Saw your lovely card on the MUSE blog. Like the floral bkgrd, w/the stripe and framed sentiment. The butterflies are nicely arranged, as well. TFS :)
