CASE Study Challenge 133

Wow! Another week has gone by and it's time for another CASE Study Challenge! I can't believe all the inspiration from last week's submissions! You ladies are amazing! We have another card from our March Muse - Julie Ebersole for CASE Study Challenge 133

Before I make cards for CASE Study Challenge, I usually look at the inspiration card for the week and then walk away. When I come back to my desk, I try to remember what stuck with me when I last saw the inspiration card. That's how I start with my cards for every challenge. This week's card from Julie left me with the negative cloud space, the circle die cut and colors blue and yellow in mind. And here's what I came up with.

I started by die cutting the clouds on a panel of Lake House cardstock. Then I heat embossed the lace trim in white and used the Scalloped Border die to trim the bottom. I tied a lovely yellow chevron ribbon around the panel to separate the top and bottom portions. I also die cut a circle, branch and bird and stamped their coordinating images on them. For the circle though, I stamped a sun image on the bottom and the sentiment up top. Afterwards, I adhered the panel onto a white card base with foam tape.

I hope you'll find some inspiration from my card and join us this week over at CASE Study Challenge! I would love to hear your thoughts on my recent cards. I'm hoping that they're looking much better these days. hehe. Oh, and I took pictures of my craft space and how I take photos of my cards recently. I'll be making a post about that soon! Make sure to come back for that! :)
