My first card is actually for CR84FN36 Color Challenge as well. And here's their wonderful color combination.
For this card, I used Le Cirque as well as the Le Cirque designer die. I haven't gotten the hang of stamping the scalloped oval yet. I believe I stamped it and die cut it 5 times. I finally gave up and picked the best out of the lot. LOL! ;P
I made a background out of the ticket stamps and made a window for my beautiful balancing lady. I also inked the edges and distressed some panels to make my card a little vintage.
My second card is for Card Patterns Sketch 128. It's waaaaay late for the challenge, but I loved the pretty sketch and decided to go with it. For this card, I used WPlus9 Very Vintage Greetings. The leaves are from Woodgrain Silhouettes Addition. I went for a bit softer and frillier card with this one.
I hope your week is going well. I'll see you all again soon! :)
Both are wonderful! Love the circus feel of the first with the panel of tickets! The flower and pretty flourish on the second are great!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, Jean! I love how you used the leaves from Woodgrain Silhouettes behind your flower--I'll definitely have to remember that!
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better!
Both are absolutely stunning. I love the ticket background and the oval looks pretty darn good to me. The second one is just as pretty with the purple and turquoise combo. :)
