WPlus9 August/September Release - Day 1

***This is my second post for today. If you're looking for TSTR 180, please scroll down.***

Hello again! Yes it's me again. I told you we were going to be a bit busy this week. Have you seen the WPlus9 August/September Release yet?! Aren't they amazing?! I had so much fun with them that I kept on making one card, after another, after another. So it's going to be a photo heavy post. I won't go into so much detail since there are so many of them. But if you have any questions, just pop me an email and I'll gladly reply. :)

Let's start! Today, I'm featuring Fanciful Feathers, Fanciful Feather Dies, and A2 Envelope Liner Die. I actually asked Dawn if she could design an awesome feathers set a few months ago. I was absolutely delighted when I saw these!!! I was so excited to ink them up, hence the large amount of images on this post. I hope you like them all!!! Let's start with my little feather card set. I made three coordinating cards as well as envelopes lined with coordinating liners.

When I saw Dawn's project here, I knew I wanted to make my own version of it. So I picked out one of my favorite color combinations and made this!

And this...

 Yup! This too!

I also made a coordinating gift package.

The fold on the feather is actually a Wink of Stella marker. I love these! I need to get used to them, but so far, I am having a lot of fun with them.

Since I couldn't help myself. I made some more! Can you see the feather in my card?! My husband can't!!! :( I die cut the feather, heat embossed it gold and cut it into three pieces. I attached each piece onto a piece of cardstock that I stamped. I didn't have a solid square stamp, so I had to improvise. I actually used Country Charm and just flipped one of the patterned square stamp so that I could get a solid square image.

Yup! I made a CAS card! Here's another one. It's the last one I promise. lol.

I hope you enjoyed all my cards today! Please come back tomorrow! I have more cards prepared for you. Thanks for stopping by today! :)

  2. These cards blew me away Jean...not only the cards, but the way you staged and photographed them...looks so professional! Someday I would love to see your photo set-up...you must have a room all set up for it! Love the way you have used the feathers, especially the last CAS card...that one is my favorite and I admit, it was hard to choose between them all!

    1. Cathy I actually have a post showing my craft space and at the end of it how I take my pictures. The set up is TOTALLY simple. You just have to get good angles of your shots and add props too. :) I almost always use the same props if you'll notice.

  4. Gorgeous cards! Your stamping is perfect, I don't know how you do it, I think I always leave too much space when I start random stamping, and then there are gaps. Loving all the great pieces and the packaging. I'll admit it took me a few seconds to see the feather in the cut apart one, but it looks very cool with all the gold!

    1. Hi Bek! I used Hero Arts Soft Pool, Mint Julep, Soft Brown, and Soft Cantaloupe for the feathers. The sentiment is Hero Arts Cup O' Joe. :)

The card with the pieced feather is made of Hero Arts Soft Pool, PTI Simply Chartreuse, and PTI Ripe Avocado. :)

      I hope that helps!
