Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge 65 and September WMS Blog Waltz

Today's a double card day. It's Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge 65 as well as September WMS Blog Waltz. I wanted to combine them in one post so you wouldn't have to scroll all the way down just to see the other. Let's get started with Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge 65 with a sketch by our very own Anya. I was so excited when I saw it, because it had sooo much potential Shabby Chic potential.

Here's my sample for the sketch. I re-sized the panels to fit what I had in mind. I found this beautiful piece of patterned paper. I'm sorry but I don't know from which collection it came from. But I really loved the combination of the soft green with the kraft.

I used Say It Loud for the sentiment. And I didn't have an edge die that matched the sketch so I just stamped Very Vintage Labels No. 18 and adhered it beneath the front panel of my card. I hope you like my simple card for the sketch challenge. I'll see you all over there!

Onto the September WMS Blog Waltz. The theme for this month's blog waltz is anything Halloween related. And I'm still really, really fixated on my Midnight Feast and Halloween Party. So I used both on my card.

I layered the images on my card with some double sided foam tape. And inked EVERYTHING! lol! :) I tried twirling the twine I used on the button. I keep seeing it everywhere now and thought it was pretty. It took a while but I finally managed to do it.

I can't wait to see what everyone made for the Waltz! :)
