Since we have two stamp sets, I made two cards for today. Let's start with the first one. I made a Father's Day card, using Super Star and Banner Trio Die.

I have never been good at making masculine cards, but this set made it a bit easier for me this time around. I made a border using the tie stamps and just stamped them one after another. Then I stamped the stars background on a vintage cream panel and stamped "Dad" over it.

I also stamped a banner image over one of the three banner dies and then added the sentiment. I glued little buttons on each side to balance things out. It just seemed almost like a one layer card to me.

For my second one, I made a Mother's Day card. I kept it pretty simple as well. I really loved the little butterfly image in the set and used it for this card. I stamped them inside a jar image and added some glitter and colored the sides with my Copic markers.

I stamped the sentiment straight onto the patterned paper and decorated it with the same butterfly image. Then I decided to add some stars and dots using my Copic markers.

I die cut one of the circle stackers and cut it into two. Then I adhered them to each side of the jar.

That's all for today's preview. I'll be back again tomorrow for Day 3 of the release. Meanwhile, if you haven't done so already, make sure to head on over to the other DT girls to see the rest of their projects for today's previews. Thanks for stopping by!
