WMSC 95

Hi friends! It's finally the weekend! It's been such a dark, rainy and all around gloomy week. I hope we'll see more of the sun next week. Now if I didn't have to go to work, I would love a rainy and gloomy day. Perfect for bumming around the house! lol!

I do most of my crafting on the weekend and I'm sure a lot of you do too. Well, here's one reason to craft this weekend...Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge 95 is on and live! This week's sketch is by our very sweet Kelly Schirmer.

This is such a fun sketch! I don't normally use this much buttons on my card, but this sketch is just so whimsical I just had to put them in there. Of course you can use something else other than the buttons if you want. Here's my project for this week.

All patterned papers used on this card are from My Mind's Eye. It seems to be the only brand of patterned paper I've been using these days! I just love them!!! I used Seasonal Remedies for the main image. I know it's nowhere near Christmas yet, but the sentiment didn't seem specific to me. We all could use and give some Good Will right? :)

I also stamped an image from Dainty Doilies 2 behind the die cut label. It seemed bare to me when I was putting the card together.

I know it wasn't in the sketch, but I added some flowers and a crocheted lace ribbon on the side. The sketch is open to interpretation after all! :)

I hope that proved to be some inspiration for you. Please come and play with us this week at Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge!

Just a little note, if you don't know yet, Claire is giving away £50 on her blog this week! All you have to do is leave a comment there on what kind of card you make the most. Pass the message to your other crafty friends because if comments go over 100 she's giving away another £50!
