Trying out CAS

Hi friends! I'm back today with a card submission for a challenge over at Moxie Fab World. Since a lot of Moxie Fab followers are CAS card makers, I thought I would try it out for this challenge. It's Stamp It! Cards Week: The Love Card Challenge. 

As we were driving home this weekend, I saw a billboard poster with these awesome colors on it. So as soon as I got home, I grabbed the very same colors and started inking my stamps. 

As you know, my nephew is staying over for the summer. So I haven't really had much time to make any cards, let alone join any challenges. So when I had an hour to myself last night I locked myself in my craft room and came up with this card.

I pulled out my WPlus9 stamp sets and made this CAS card. I used Heartfelt Mix, Hearts and Clouds dies, and Fair Isle Backgrounds. I used an image from Fair Isle Backgrounds and stamped three horizontal strips across the white cardstock.

Then I got the "wire"/"string" image from Heartfelt Mix and randomly stamped it over the background. I die cut three hearts using the Hearts and Clouds dies and stamped polka dot hearts on them. I sewed them onto the cardstock to add a little more interest and I bent each side to give it a lift.
