SFYTT at I Heart 2 Stamp

Hi peeps! For some reason I couldn't find ANY challenge on any of the websites I follow...UNTIL I saw this one! :) I love the simple sketch and all the possibilities that came with it. Today, I used more of a monochromatic theme in my card. AGAIN, I'm using my Lovely Label stamp set from Gina K Designs. I just love this stamp set. I really got my money's worth from it. Sometimes, when I can't think of what to do, I just pull it out and choose a color then build the card from there.

Here's the sketch from I Heart 2 Stamp

And here's my submission for this sketch. I really love this embossing folder from Provo Craft. I was inspired to get it by Christina MacLaren. She's such a great card maker! Thanks Christina! I also tried using navy blue. If you haven't noticed I don't really use the color so much. But I think this time I used it well. Don't you just love those blue stripes on the background?! And that star patterned paper is soooo cute!!! :) Anyway, enjoy!!!

Supplies:
Cardstock - vintage cream, white (PTI), navy, light blue (Paper Company)
Patterned Paper - stripes, stars (Paper Pizazz)
Stamps - Sincere Salutations, One of a Kind (SU), Lovely Labels (Gina K Designs)
Ink - black (Memories), french blue (Color box)
Others - pearls (Recollections), embossing folder (Provo Craft)

  1. Wow, Jean, thanks so much for the shout-out! I just love it when I can inspire others to buy more supplies! {wink}

    Your card is lovely! I should try monochromatic more often, I really like the look. I love how you used that gorgeous label for the square element in the sketch!
