Polkadot Door Designs Blog-iversary Party

Hi bloggies! I'm back this Saturday for some partying! Last month, Rebecca from Polkadot Door Designs asked me if I could join in their Blog-iversary Party that celebrated their blog's one year anniversary. I thought it was such a great idea. I wish I had put in more time and effort into celebrating my blog's first year anniversary too! Polkadot Door Designs is a blog run by two sweet sisters who have a love for all things crafty.

My sisters are half way across the world. We're really, really close. Best friends actually. And it breaks my heart every time I remember that they're so far away. So it was really nice to see sisters who actually work together on a blog site.

Well, for the Blog-iversary Party, they're having an inspiration challenge as well as a Blog Hop. Prizes are INVOLVED people! lol! So make sure you join the HOP and the INSPIRATION CHALLENGE! :) Before I go into the details, here's their inspiration photo for the challenge.

You can use any of the following for your inspiration: the inspirational photo, crocheted flowers and the sentiment. You can use one, two, or all three. Mix and match. Whatever tickles you! :) Here's my take on the challenge:

I chose to use the inspiration photo for my card. I made a pinwheel from a 2" x 2" piece of double sided patterned paper. I also used the following stamps: Simply Delightful, from The Craft's Meow. Mat Stack 3 Collection, from Papertrey Ink. Frame It and Fancy Phrases from Waltzingmouse Stamps

Here's the Blog Hop list. Just in case you started here, you should head on over to the Polkadot Door Designs blog first to get all the juicy details about the hop. :)

Jean --> you're here!

And now I get to the exciting details. The PRIZES...

  30. @Amber: Hi Amber! I take my pictures indoor with a light box. It doesn't always come out good...so I always follow it up with Adobe Photoshop. :)
