Color Cue 15

Hi bloggies! I'm back for a little Color Cue challenge. I haven't played in a while, and it seems I've been busy making my DT cards that I've missed a lot of my favorite challenges. Here's my way of making up for it. :) This one is for the Color Cue 15, the colors are super sweet and so I made a super sweet card for it too! lol! Anyway, here's the color combination for this challenge.

I actually made this a while back. But I was so busy with my DT challenges and releases that I forgot to post this. I'm posting it now since I have nothing up my sleeve this Sunday. :P I seriously don't know how some of my friends who have like 5 DT positions manage to make all of their DT cards and STILL have the time to join challenges and such! I wish I could make my cards faster. We have visitors staying at the house this week and so I have less time for my crafting. It's really good to have these cards ready for times like this. I hope you like it.

I used the Mehndi Medallions to make a background and also a border for the top. I stamped Very Vintage Label No. 5 on a vellum sheet, die cut it and inked the edges. I also stamped the beautiful label from Brothers and Sisters (w/ die) and one of the sentiments that comes with the set. The butterfly is my favorite punch from Martha Stewart. Enjoy the rest of your weekend ladies! :)

Stamps: WPlus9 - Brothers and Sisters, Mehndi Medallions, WMS - Very Vintage Labels No. 5

  4. I Love it, Jean! I am clueless as to how some do it either. It takes me too long to make a card. :)

  6. Wow Jean...among everything else I love about this card. I really appreciate how you took the time to mask the edges before stamping the lace to continue the Kraft border along your focal panel! Details...it's all in the details. ;o)
