I really wanted to use swirls comprised of pearls. I don't have any of those ready made ones from Making Memories. I actually stamped the swirl and covered it with pearls. I did it ONE BY ONE. It took a while as you can imagine. But it looks like it paid off in the end. I can't begin to tell you how tedious it was. Lesson learned...next time, buy the ready made swirly pearls. :P
Anyway, here's my submission for this week's Curtain Call Color Challenge Act 42.
Supplies:
Cardstock - vintage cream (PTI), brown (Paper Company)
Patterned Paper - garden variety (Cosmo Cricket), sweet pear dots (BoBunny)
Stamps - 5th Ave. Florals (SU), sentiment (Violets:PTI)
Others - brown ribbon (Celebrate It), pearls (Recollections), edge punch (EK Success)
I'm a bit worried about these colors too, but you did a fabulous job with them! I love how subtle the sentiment looks stamped on the dotted paper, and your coloring is amazing! Must break out my colored pencils one of these days! And you placed each of those pearls one by one??!! Dear, you deserve the Lead this week just for all the work you did! ;) It certainly paid off with a gorgeous result!
