I made a simple card tonight using one of my favorite Stampin' Up stamp sets, Eastern Blooms. I stamped some blooms on a raised piece of cardstock to make it my focal point. Then I used turquoise and that bright yellow cardstock to flank it from behind. I didn't want my turquoise band to just be plain, so I used my Little Argyle stamp set from Papertrey Ink.
This was such a fun color combination. Here's the Curtain Call Color Challenge Act 44 for this week. I hope you like my card!
Supplies:
Cardstock - white, hawaiian shores (PTI), red, yellow (Bazzill)
Stamps - Eastern Blooms (SU), Little Argyle, Violets: sentiment (PTI)
Others - ink (Colorbox, Memories), edge punch (EK Success)
love this, Jean! the colors POP with such a happy and cheerful tone:) thanks for working your magic at the Curtain Call!
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful card. You're so good with these colors! I'm trying to work with them for the Color Cue challenge, and I'm having a rough time (you did three cards for that!). Nice layout on this one, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work with the colors, Jean. I love how the colors pop against the white background, and the argyle stamping looks fantastic!
