I was going through my favorite blogs and I noticed that I've missed a lot of card challenges. I guess I have a lot of catching up to do. First one up is Embellish Magazine's Color Challenge featuring birds. I thought that the color combination was really beautiful. And to pair it up with birds. Perfect! I couldn't believe it though...I looked at my stamp sets and found only ONE bird stamp. Yes, you read that right, ONE. I was sooo glad to find out that some of my Cricut cartridges had bird designs on them. It was such a great save! :) I had such a great time making this card after one week of not making anything at all.
Anyway, here's my submission for this Embellish Magazine Color Challenge:
Supplies:
Cardstock - chocolate brown, raspberry fizz (PTI), cream (Paper Company)
Patterned Paper - polka dots (Reminisce), other (My Mind's Eye)
Stamps - cherry blossoms (Rubber Stampede), Mega Mixed Messages (PTI)
Others - ribbon (Celebrate It), rhinestones (Queen & Co.), bird die cut (Cricut: Pagoda)
Great to see you back, Jean, I've missed your creations! I'm glad you had such a nice vacation and even got in some quality shopping time!
ReplyDeleteYou did a fabulous job with the bird die cut, and I love the way you paired it up with the cherry blossom stamp and that gorgeous border punch!
I have that cherry branch too...I love how you combined it with the cut out bird! Every detail is perfect. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you played along with the Embellish color challenge...I've been thrilled to be their sponsor this week and I have one more chance to win on my personal blog!
That´s really cute!
