Before I start to babble on about how I made it, here's the sketch for WMSC 12.
I flipped my card on the side. Using a vintage cream card base, I inked it with my PTI aqua mist using a sponge dauber. I also inked the edges one more time with Tea Dye Distress Ink. I used several stamps to make the background. Damask Designs and Text Style from PTI, and the chandelier is from Inkadinkado. I used my Martha Stewart edge punch on a strip of peach cardstock and stamped a damask design from my Vintage Labels (PTI). Then I tied a bow over it and adhered the label on top.
As you can imagine, I was really, really happy about it!!! I took soooo many pictures!!!! Haha! Yay! Finally, a card that actually looks "vintage"! :) Enjoy!
Supplies:
Cardstock - vintage cream (PTI), peach (Bazzill), beige (Paper Company)
Stamps - Chandelier (Inkadinkado), Mega Mixed Messages, Text Style, Damask Designs, Vintage Labels (PTI)
Others - ink (PTI, Memories, Colorbox, Distress Inks), pearls (Recollections), label die (Spellbinders), ribbon (Offray), edge punch (Martha Stewart)
Gorgeous, Jean! I don't do vintage well at all, but you have nailed it! I think this is one of my favorite cards you have shared. The pearls on the label and the satin ribbon are so pretty, and the mix of stamps on the background are so well balanced. Truly beautiful!
