Hello there! I have one more post for The Craft's Meow October 2012 Release Previews. Have you been enjoying the projects from the design team? Well, there's one more card I'm going to feature today. This is for O Christmas Tree, by Amy Wanford.
When I saw this set I was sooo excited. Because there's this card from my favorite card maker, Melissa Phillips, that I've always wanted to try to do but never had a chance to. Here's the card. There's so much inspiration of Melissa's blog. I just love her. :)
Here's my little rendition of her beautiful card.
I took the Christmas tree images and stamped them on white cardstock, then I cut them out one by one. For my background patterned paper, I stamped this beautiful snowflake from Vintage Snowflakes several times and inked the edges. Then I sewed the trees onto the cardstock and made it look like a big star.
Then I stamped the baubles from Vintage Ornament and hand cut them. I also stamped the bough and bells from Hearth and Home, colored them in, and cut them out. I layered them over each other in the center of the star.
That's it for me! Unfortunately I won't be able to join in the Blog Hop tomorrow. But please stop by The Craft's Meow blog for a chance to win the ENTIRE October release! Enjoy the rest of the week! Thanks for stopping by today!
Love all of your layering!
