Hello! It's that time again. Welcome to Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge 120. This week's sketch is from Clare Buswell. I am a fan of Clare and love all her cards and projects. So I hope I do this sketch justice.
If you've been following my blog, you'll know that I've been trying to build up my Christmas cards for this coming holiday season. It's a good thing that this sketch was perfect for what I had in mind.
I heat embossed this beautiful doily from Dainty Doilies - Large Set. Then I adhered a strip of patterned paper from PTI over it. I tied a white ribbon on top and adhered this jar of candies over it.
The jar and candies are from Candy Jar Christmas Fillers. I stamped them, colored them with Copic markers, cut them out and inked the edges with distress ink. I added a few stray candies outside the jar to follow a bit of the sketch.
Then I stamped the sentiment on the bottom. It's from Compliments of the Season. Afterwards, I adhered everything onto the card base made with Oatmeal cardstock.
There you go! That's all I have for you today. My DH and I are going to Hawaii from October 21st to the 28th so I won't be able to join in next week's challenge. But please find your way here again on Monday. TCM is having it's October Release Previews and I made some cards and posts in advance for those days.
