CR84FN9

Hi everyone! I woke up this morning and found Mona's new challenge blog. The site is so beautiful, as to be expected from Mona Pendleton! :) I was so excited to join since the colors were so gorgeous! I just got some Webster's Pages patterned papers in and I was excited to use them. Here's the inspiration photo and color combination for CR84FN9. 



Here' s my take on the challenge. I used my new Love Birds stamp set from PTI and that wonderful flourish again from Tattered Angels. I can't seem to stop using it! It's just gorgeous! And I'm a total sucker for flourishes! I just love how feminine this looks. I stamped the bird cage and the birds in vellum and cut them out. The flourish I heat embossed with white embossing powder. The little journaling block is from My Mind's Eye. I placed it there because I felt like the space needed a little something. I hope you like this one! Happy New Year again everyone!!! :)

    Oh Jean, this is just too darn pretty!!!! I love the bird cage stamped on vellum!!! The design and composition of the card are just fabulous and make the colors just shine! GORGEOUS!!!
