Hi peeps! I'm back again for some Curtain Call Color Challenge Act 66! Stacey has chosen warm pink and red tones for this color combination. And our photo inspiration are these pair of cute pink mittens.
As usual, I don't have all the SU colors on our color palette this week. But even if you don't, you can work with similar colors like I always do. I chose this patterned paper from DCWV called Luxury Stack. It had the beautiful cherry and pink that I needed. And I added some Distressed dots from Papertrey Ink for the burgundy color. I couldn't resist adding some lace to this card. You know me, if it's not ribbon, then it's lace! Hee! :)
I handmade the paper flower using some Marvy Uchida punches. You know those 5 petal ones that are color green? I cut the edges to give them a more realistic edge then I used my embossing tool to add texture and shape to each petal. There are 4 big flowers on the bottom and 3 small flowers on top. I also stamped a label from Holiday Labels 14 from Waltzing Mouse Stamps and the birdcages from Papertrey Ink. I hope this inspires you to join us this week at Curtain Call Color Challenge! Thanks for stopping by! :) Make sure to check out the fantastic creations of the other Curtain Call Crew!
