This is my second post for the day.
Scroll down for the first one! :)
Hi everyone! It's pretty late and I'm tired from the day so I'll keep this short. It's time for the Curtain Call Challenge Act 63. Here's the inspiration photo and color combination.
I have two cards for Act 63. For my first one, I used my new stamp sets from Papertrey Ink. As well as that gorgeous flourish stamp from Tattered Angels. I'm running out of my olive ink so I'm sorry if it's not dark enough. I stamped the flourish on the bottom of the baby blue patterned paper. Then I made this cute center piece using a label die from Spellbinders. I used Mat Stack 2 Collection and Love Lives Here. I just love the sentiments on the Love Lives Here collection. I don't know why I didn't buy the dies that came along with it...but it's next on my list!
Here's my second card. It's an attempt to use Betsy Veldman's style of combining colorful patterned papers. I hope it looks good. I'm really trying to work on my patterned paper combining powers haha! :) The patterned papers are from Collage Press and My Mind's Eye. I used the Love Birds stamp set for this one. I also added that beautiful frame from Tattered Angels. Thanks for stopping by! I hope you had a wonderful new year's day! Welcome 2011!!! Good night everyone! I'm off to bed. :)
