Good morning everyone! I'm in a very inky mood this morning. First up, Color Cue Challenge 13. I've been trying to get this in since it first came out. But it was a busy week and I decided to wait until the weekend so I could be all relaxed while making it. I have a couple of posts from last night if you haven't seen them. Just scroll down! Here's the color combination for Color Cue Challenge 13.
Since it's a WPlus9, of course I had to use their stamps. It was perfect for it anyway. Since the colors are so spring! And what else could I use but greenery, flowers and butterflies?! I also dry embossed the light gray panel behind just to add some dimension. I hope you like this one. I'm off to make another one! :) Enjoy your weekend! I know I am! :)
Gorgeous! Love the texture, the panel, the stitching and bow!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend
Hugs and smiles
Fabulous Jean--Springy indeed!
ReplyDeleteI'm so tempted by these colours, but don't think I'll have the time this weekend to try them out {insert frown here}--I'm glad Dawn has longer time frame for her challenges! Maybe next weekend!!
Another beauty! I'm waiting on my Woodgrain Additions to arrive and can't wait to ink them up. Plus this gorgeous color combo is calling my name. Love the way you've colored the dogwood and stitched it to the embossed panel.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, those colours are perfect together, I like the stitching and the embossed background looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous!! I love all the amazing detail and texture you have added to it!! The love the two banners that you've added for the sentiment piece, and that bow is fantastic...especially with the butterfly middle!! Wonderful job with WPlus9's Color Cue #13! ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely amazing, Jean! Every time I stop by your blog I'm inspired! LOVE all your perfectly executed panels and the way you used the butterfly as your ribbon medallion! Yummy! Thanks so much for playing along with this month's Color Cue!
