Inspired by Betsy...

Hi bloggies! I have one more card for you before I turn in and call it a night. I was looking at the sneak peaks of Papertrey Ink for their March release and oh my goodness!!! Did you see that postage set?!?!?!?!?! I'm in LOVE!!! I've been waiting for someone to come up with something like this!!! Papertrey Ink really has it down to a science!!! I can't wait to get my hands on that set!!!


While I was perusing through Nichole's blog, I saw Betsy's card. It was gorgeous! She's such a great artist. I am always in awe of her creations. I've always hoped to pull a "Betsy". Hee! Here's my first try at it! :P



All stamps are from Papertrey Ink. I won that metal embellishment from a card contest last year and I didn't know what to do with it. It's from Making Memories I believe. I finally found a home for it here. I was planning on submitting it as another card for CR84FN, but then I have other colors in it as well. And there's really no gray in it aside from the brad. Oh well! So what do you think? Did I manage to pull a "Betsy"? :)

    this is a total Betsy with a Jean flare :) Love all the fun new details...how did you make the kraft embellishment in the middle? Is that from PTI as well? Maybe their embellishment set? I'm with you on the postage stamps...I'm loving them and heading over now to see Melissa's new tags :)
