Curtain Call Color Challenge Act 46

Hi everyone! This is my first submission as a Curtain Call Crew Design Team member at Stacey's Stamping Stage! It was a very pleasant surprise to be asked. I hope I can come up with wonderful cards for all of you to take some inspiration from. :)

Here's this week's inspiration photo and color combination.

When I join card challenges, I usually make 2-3 cards when I'm not absolutely sure with the first one I've made. This one was no different! Hee! This is card #3!!! I was never really very good with orange. Now combine it with pink, green and red....this really WAS a challenge for me. In the end though, it turned out just as I wanted it to. Here it is, I hope you like it!

The inspiration photo really made me want to make use of flowers for this card. And 5th Ave. Florals from Stampin' Up was absolutely perfect for it! I stamped the rose first, then I masked it as I stamped the rest of the flowers. I'm into distressing edges since I saw a video of it online. It suited this card very well. I also love to use distress inks from Ranger Industries, I think it adds dimension and depth to the stamped images. The twine was perfect to hold the sentiment tag, it also added texture to an otherwise flat surface.

Supplies:
Cardstock - white, sweet blush (PTI), green (Bazzill)
Stamps - 5th Ave. Florals (SU), sentiment (PTI)
Inks - Colorbox, Distress Ink
Others - circle punch (EK Success), twine (Walmart)
