FTTC100

Hello AGAIN. :) Yes, yes, it's my THIRD post for the afternoon. I had a LOT of time...what can I say?! And ideas were just rolling off the top of my head today. I'm posting this early. It's for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday’s 100th Challenge Celebration Blog Hop. I wanted to share it all with you because this was the best one I made today. The challenge was about using your FAVORITES! Anything from stamps, paper, embellishments, etc. I put almost ALL of my favorite things on this card! :)

So the challenge is about FAVORITES. Here's a list of my favorites that I used on this card.:
1.  Color Combination: Pink, Brown, Cream
2.  Lace
3.  Seam Binding Ribbon
4.  Victorian Frippery from Waltzing Mouse Stamps
5.  Holiday Label # 14 from Waltzing Mouse Stamps
6.  Spellbinders Labels 14
7.  Distressing/Inking with Antique Linen
8.  Glass Glitter by Melissa Frances
9.  Sewing
10. Stars
11. Ornate/Vintage buttons

There you go! My favorites, ALL in one card! Isn't it beautiful?! I just love how feminine it is. This has got to be one of my most favorite color combinations. I have a couple of die cut stars in my craft supply because I love to use them. For this star, I ran it through my Xyron, then I poured on the glass glitter generously over top. The button and lace are from Jo-Ann's. And the sentiment is from Verve stamps.

I've been wanting to try some Flourishes stamps. But you know how so MANY stamp companies come out with so MANY stamp sets that you don't know what to get first because you can't get them ALL?! Haha! Well, this is what happens to me. I have a list of stamps from each company that I like. It's just so I know what to get when I order my supplies. My list is sooo long. :) I'm pretty sure yours is too! Haha!

I stamped that background lace on the bottom of the patterned paper. I didn't realize that I had to heat set it because of the texture of the paper. I smudged a part of it off while sewing the panel to the card base. So I had to stamp it over again. I think I might have missed by a few millimeters. I didn't want to go through the whole process again so I stuck with it. Anyway, I hope you like my card. Thanks for stopping by!

  18. I like your card a lot! And I totally know what you mean about some companies having so many great stamps that I just don't know which one to start with!! Flourishes is definitely one of them. If I hadn't won the one set, I'd probably still be dithering about which one I wanted to start with!!
