I wasn't sure how I wanted to use this sketch in the beginning. In the end, I just flipped it. I used some Waltzingmouse Stamps for my focal point, Victorian Frippery, Very Vintage Labels No. 5, Fancy Phrases and Faux Fun. I was planning on using the Totally Hues colors for this but I just couldn't make it work tonight. So I chose a few of the colors from the combination and added a few more other colors instead. I also added that cute swirl of pearls. I forgot who it's from but I'm sure a lot of you know it. Hee! (Totally embarrassed that I don't know what it's even called!!!) Haha! I think it's pretty anyway. And I should get more of them. I hope you all like it. It was a lot of fun to make. I'll see you all again tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by!

PDCC 74
Hi bloggies! It's been a busy Saturday with some take home work that I had to do. I finally had a little time for myself tonight though. I saw the wonderful inspiration photo over at Play Date Cafe. It's absolutely adorable! I decided to join in on all of the fun! Here it is, PDCC 74.
Here's my take on the challenge. I chose to go on the lighter side of the colors shown on the picture. I chose to go with a lighter shade of blue and a lighter shade of purple. I wanted to use all stamping on this card and no patterned paper at all. It's really fun what you can come up with using just stamps! Oh and I finally bought a good pair of pinking shears from Fiskars. I had those $1 ones and they were not working for me. I found these at my local Michael's and I totally love them! The stamps I used are a combination of Waltzingmouse Stamps and Papertrey Ink stamps. I just love Very Vintage Labels 18 from Waltzingmouse Stamps, I can't seem to stop using them!!! And Button Boutique from Papertrey Ink?! I can't put it down either! What do you think of this? I hope you all like it! I'll see you all again tomorrow! :)

Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge 40
Hello again! I'm back for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge 40. I can't believe it's been almost two months now since I joined the Mischief Makers. It's been a great journey so far. I try to push myself to make something better each time. We can't go making lousy cards that don't belong up there with the rest! Hee! :) It's the weekend! FINALLY! I have a cousin who's going to have a baby in a few months and so I've been inspired to make baby stuff. :) I spent the longest time on this submission. It's the very first time I made a banner. I've always stuck to just making cards. But these WM Sketches just keep pushing me out of my comfort zone. Here's the sketch for this week.
And here's my submission. I only have a 17 x 17 light box. So I struggled on taking a picture of this! Haha! I knew I should have gotten a bigger one! And I need bigger lights as well! They're just SO expensive! And I don't know if I'm willing to spend on them just yet. There's always Photoshop! :)
I stamped the banners in different colors and matted them with patterned cardstock. Then I just embellished them with lace, ribbons, buttons, and chipboard. What do you think? :) I also took some shots of the individual banners so you can look at them in detail. I hope you'll all join us this week on WMSC 40! See you there! And don't forget to check out the other Mischief Makers! They have wonderful projects in store for everyone!

Papertrey Ink March Blog Hop
Hi friends! It's only 10:23pm EST right now and the collection for the blog hop is already closed. :( I thought it was open until 11:00pm EST. I hurried to make mine in time but I guess I didn't make it again. Anyway, I still wanted to share what I made with all of you. The theme of the hop was to use floss in your card. Here's Papertrey Ink's March Blog Hop!
Here's my submission! Well it was, if the link didn't close too early. Hope you like it! :)

Card Patterns Sketch 107
Hi bloggies! I just realized that I haven't joined one of my favorite challenges in a while. Well, now that I have some time to make to play, I'm totally joining. It was such a cold and gloomy day today. Hardly what you would expect on the third day of spring!!! Card making always makes the day seem so much better. No matter how cold or how gloomy it is. For this card I used the sketch from Card Patterns Sketch 107 and I chose one of my favorite color combinations: brown, gray and yellow.
Here's my card for this challenge. I got these new floral stamps from Paper Source. And once I stamped them in Chocolate Brown, I had to use gray with it. I also used my favorite stamp from Very Vintage Labels No. 18. And a sentiment from Fancy Phrases. Both as from Waltzingmouse Stamps. I hope you like this one. I had such a fun time making it. I'll be back later after midnight for CASE Study Blog. See you later! :)

CR84FN20
Hi everyone! The weekend is almost at an end but not until I post my CR84FN20 in! :) It was a bit of a struggle for me. I'm not very good with anything closely resembling violet. They can give it a lot of names like plum, or pomegranate or purple...it's still violet to me! LOL! Mona's card was GORGEOUS, as always. It was just...how do you say it...out of the ball park! Hee! I had to at least try!!! And so without further ado...here's the color combination and my card.
I have been wanting to use this huge stamp from Waltzingmouse Stamps, Very Vintage Labels No. 18, and I always find myself grabbing the other labels in the set instead. But when I saw this challenge it just seemed perfect for the stamp. I layered another label from the set over it and stamped my favorite sentiment stamp, Fancy Phrases, also from Waltzingmouse Stamps. The rest of it is just patterned paper doing its own magic. :)
I've been running out of challenges to join lately. Or am I just missing the good ones?! I wanted to join the Viva la Verve challenge as well. I hope I'll have the time this week before the challenge ends! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Enjoy the rest of it, and thanks for stopping by! :)

Better late than never...Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Waltz
Hello again! Here's my second post for the day. It's for WM Blog Waltz. I feel so bad for being so late with this! I had meant to submit earlier but I kept pushing it until I forgot. Better late than never right?! I grew up in the Philippines and so I was never familiar with St. Patrick's Day. Of course I knew four leaf clovers and leprechauns. Who doesn't? This Thursday it was so nice to see a lot of people in green and I even met someone at work who had a necklace with a shamrock on it. How's that for celebrating the holiday! I downloaded the free digital stamp over at Waltzingmouse Stamps for this card. I just love it when Claire makes elaborate stamps. Just gorgeous. Here we go then...
Here's my card. I kept it simple because I thought the label was fabulously elaborate already. I just colored it with a Copic marker and inked the edges. I also used my favorite border stamp from Victorian Frippery on the sides just to add a little umph! :) Hee! I'm taking a little break from stamping now. I have some cards that need to be mailed for a magazine call. See you all later! Thanks for stopping by.
Crafty Morning...Color Cue Challenge 13
Good morning everyone! I'm in a very inky mood this morning. First up, Color Cue Challenge 13. I've been trying to get this in since it first came out. But it was a busy week and I decided to wait until the weekend so I could be all relaxed while making it. I have a couple of posts from last night if you haven't seen them. Just scroll down! Here's the color combination for Color Cue Challenge 13.
Since it's a WPlus9, of course I had to use their stamps. It was perfect for it anyway. Since the colors are so spring! And what else could I use but greenery, flowers and butterflies?! I also dry embossed the light gray panel behind just to add some dimension. I hope you like this one. I'm off to make another one! :) Enjoy your weekend! I know I am! :)
WMSC39
Hi friends! Good morning! Yay it's Saturday! Saturday is what I call my "bumming around the house" day. I just love hanging around the house doing nothing but relaxing and getting my fingers all inky. Coincidentally, it's also the day for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge. Before I joined the Mischief Makers, I remember I would always wake up excited every Saturday morning to take a look at the sketch and work on it right away. I try to finish as early as I can to get the best lighting by our window up front. I had my best pictures there. Now, I have to make my cards in advanced for these challenges. Hee! I never thought I would be where I am now. Back then I couldn't even make one shabby chic card to save my life! Hahaha! I couldn't have done it without the shabby chic gurus of blogland. ;) (You know who they are!)
Now, onto our sketch! WMSC39. This week we have a very fun sketch for everyone.

Goodness! Did I have fun with this sketch! I used WM Bitty Banners. (Of course!) It's such a festive sketch that I had to use stars on it! For this card, I used Seasons of Love - Tags. I also layered a glitter glass covered star for a little sparkle. Did I mention how CUTE these banners are?! I'm trying to come up with other ways to use them. If I ever do get a good one going...I'll be sure to post it here for you to see! I hope to see how you use this sketch. I'm sure I'll get some great ideas from your posts! See you there!
Don't forget to pop in with the other Mischief Makers to take a look at their awesome work! :) See you all again! Thanks for stopping by! :)
Tuesday Trigger: Button, Button 2
Hello again! Ok so I said I would be back at midnight for the WMSC. I totally forgot that I can't post it until 3:00am EST. So I have another entry for Tuesday Trigger: Button, Button instead. I was feeling very crafty tonight and wanted to make another card before I sign off tonight. I just CAN'T not make a shabby chic card for this challenge. I had it mulling in my head the whole time after I made my first card. I finally sat down again and made my second submission. Here's the inspiration photo again.
Here's my second submission for this challenge. It was a button challenge...how could I not use my PTI Button Boutique?! I also can't stop using this Embellishment stamp on the edges of my cards!!! I just love the look it gives the card. I don't have my dies for the buttons or the card yet, so please excuse my rough cutting. I really love this one. It came out great! Well...that's it for tonight! I'm scheduling my post for WMSC later on at 3:00am. Come back tomorrow to see it! Good night everyone! Enjoy your weekend! :)

Tuesday Trigger: Button, Button
Hi everyone! Happy Friday! I have something totally different for you today. I haven't done this style for quite a while now. I'm a bit rusty at it. Haha. What else could it be but CAS. Yes, I made a CAS card. I hope I can get away with it too! ;P It's for the Tuesday Trigger Challenge: Button, Button.
So what do you think? Bad? I've been so used to making shabby chic card that I've become really rusty at this. I think it came out ok though. I hope it did. I'll be back again at midnight for WMSC. I'll see you all later! Thanks for stopping by! :)

Bitty Banners...and published in CARDS! :)
Hi everyone! I was at our local Barnes and Noble tonight with my dh. I was looking for the new Papercrafts Magazine that came out on the 15th. 350 Cards and Gifts. While I was looking around the magazine section, I found that the CARDS Magazine April 2011 issue was already out. I knew I had a card published with them and wasn't sure if it was coming out this month. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was the first card in the baby section! :) Yay! It felt sooo great to see it there. Don't they take the best pictures?!?! They make our cards look so much better than they really are! Hahahaha! Anyway, I'm happy to report that I found the LAST issue of 350 Cards and Gifts hidden behind all the craft magazines. Hee! AND, I was so happy to see a lot of friends and familiar blogland names that were published. :)
I was so inspired that as soon as we got home, I went straight to my craft table and started making a card. Here it is...

I still can't get enough of Waltzingmouse Stamps newest release, Bitty Banners. I love this so much that I made an entire card out of it! :) It's Friday tomorrow! Yay! I love the weekends. I'll see you all again tomorrow! :)

Mojo Monday 182
Hi bloggies! Today was a good day! My Waltzingmouse Stamps were waiting for me when I got home from work. Of course, I immediately set out to get them inky as soon as I had the time! I used the sketch from Mojo Monday 182 for my card. I flipped the sketch and instead of using a ribbon on top, I used banners from WMS Bitty Banners.
I also used WMS Very Vintage Labels No. 18 so I could place my sentiment in that corner. I know it's not my usual style. But I wanted to try something cute with these stamp sets. I hope you like this one! It was really fun to make. I'll see you all again tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by! :)

Inspired by Betsy...
Hi bloggies! I have one more card for you before I turn in and call it a night. I was looking at the sneak peaks of Papertrey Ink for their March release and oh my goodness!!! Did you see that postage set?!?!?!?!?! I'm in LOVE!!! I've been waiting for someone to come up with something like this!!! Papertrey Ink really has it down to a science!!! I can't wait to get my hands on that set!!!
While I was perusing through Nichole's blog, I saw Betsy's card. It was gorgeous! She's such a great artist. I am always in awe of her creations. I've always hoped to pull a "Betsy". Hee! Here's my first try at it! :P

All stamps are from Papertrey Ink. I won that metal embellishment from a card contest last year and I didn't know what to do with it. It's from Making Memories I believe. I finally found a home for it here. I was planning on submitting it as another card for CR84FN, but then I have other colors in it as well. And there's really no gray in it aside from the brad. Oh well! So what do you think? Did I manage to pull a "Betsy"? :)
Thanks for stopping by! Good night folks!
CR84FN19
Good morning everyone! And happy Sunday! Every Sunday morning, I always find myself getting up to check what's on CR84FN. I always love their color combos and the cards that the DT comes up with are just gorgeous! This morning found myself on my craft table and inking my stamps. Here's the color combination for CR84FN19.
And here's my card for this challenge. I was actually inspired to use these flourish stamps behind this patterned paper panel. I saw Chupa's gorgeous card for this challenge and decided to try out her technique. Thanks for the inspiration Chupa! I hope you'll like this one! :) All stamps are from Papertrey Ink.
I was looking at the Sunday papers today. I always check out the Michael's and AC Moore sheets for coupons and discounts. I found that AC Moore has a 40% discount on die cutting products. The last time they did this I was very excited because I wanted to a few Spellbinders dies. But when I got to one of our AC Moore's...shocker...there wasn't a single Spellbinder die on display. I didn't come late in the day or anything like that...and I went to the bigger AC Moore just to make sure...and yet I was sorely disappointed. Now I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble to even go and see if they have any Spellbiners there at all. :(

Embellish: Color Trends Challenge with Music
Hi friends! It seems like it's been awhile since I made my last card. I'm blaming it on my Nook color and TV. I've been reading up a storm since I got my Nook. It's just so easy to get books now. I don't have to run to Barnes and Noble just to get the next one. If you're ever thinking about what e-reader to get...well, you should give Nook Color a try. Anyway, I've been mulling over the Color Trends Challenge for a few days now. Trying to decide what I should do with it. Today, I finally sat down and made a card for it. It's not my usual color palette. But Ashley's card was so beautiful, I had to try it! Here's the color combination.
Here's my take on this challenge. I can't remember where I got this sketch from (sorry!), it might have been Card Patterns or Mojo Monday. I just drew it on my little white board and was planning on joining that challenge a few days ago. But days went by and I never used it. I think the challenge for that sketch might be over by now. Still, I wanted to use it.
I was in a butterfly mood today. So I used my favorite butterfly punch from Martha Stewart. Of course there had to be a touch of Waltzingmouse Stamps here and there. I just love their label stamps! It was one of the first things that drew me to them. I just love all the swirls and flourishes. It just fits with my style so much! :) Of course, I'm really trying to use other stamps from other companies. I told myself that I should. It's just hard though. Every time I decide to try out something else, WMS or PTI comes out with something so awesome that I just have to get my hands on it. Then I blow my entire craft budget on them and have none left to try anything else!!! I'm pretty sure a lot of you share my dilemma!
Anyway, here's my card. I hope you like it! I'll see you all again tomorrow! :) Thanks for stopping by! And thank you so much for all your sweet comments. It's what I always look forward to at the end of the day! :)
Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge 38
Hi bloggies! I've fallen asleep on the couch right after dinner...AGAIN. I wanted to make a card for tonight...but it doesn't look like I'll be able to. It's a good thing I had this card ready ahead of time. I was watching Unwrapped on Food Network, and they had this product called Pie in a Bottle. I was soooo amazed by it! All you had to do was add 2 eggs to the pie in a bottle and blend it. Grab a frozen pie crust and slap whatever filling you want...I'm all for chopped pecans!...then just pour in the blended mixture and stick it in the oven...and tada!!! Pie! I'm going to have have to look for it in the grocery!
Oops sorry! I've wandered off haven't I? Back to our sketch for this week. Here's WMSC 38.
Here's my take on this challenge. Oh my, I had a hard time with this one. I'm totally not good with circle cards. I didn't have the big Nestabilities to cut this out so I used my Cricut Expression on it. I layered some patterned paper, doily, lace, label, ribbon and flowers for my card. For the first time ever, I have sewed in a circle! And it's not too bad if I say so myself! I did it slowly if you want to know hehe. I kept the edge of the patterned paper in the center of the "foot" of the sewing machine. Is that what you call the little thing that goes down and holds the fabric or paper down? Then I just kept turning and sewing. I hope you'll all be able to join us this week for a challenging sketch! :)
Don't forget to pop in with the other Mischief Makers to take a look at their awesome work! :) See you all again! Thanks for stopping by! :)
