Le Cirque and Very Vintage Greetings....CR84FN36

Well that was a very nice weekend...minus the thunder storm on Sunday night. I've been resting my back these past few days,  my doctor says I have a herniated disc. I haven't made a card since Friday and I thought I'd make it up today and made two cards. I used WPlus9 Stamps August release stamp sets for both my cards. It's such a bummer I wasn't able to be there during the release.

My first card is actually for CR84FN36 Color Challenge as well. And here's their wonderful color combination.

For this card, I used Le Cirque as well as the Le Cirque designer die. I haven't gotten the hang of stamping the scalloped oval yet. I believe I stamped it and die cut it 5 times. I finally gave up and picked the best out of the lot. LOL! ;P

I made a background out of the ticket stamps and made a window for my beautiful balancing lady. I also inked the edges and distressed some panels to make my card a little vintage.

My second card is for Card Patterns Sketch 128. It's waaaaay late for the challenge, but I loved the pretty sketch and decided to go with it. For this card, I used WPlus9 Very Vintage Greetings. The leaves are from Woodgrain Silhouettes Addition. I went for a bit softer and frillier card with this one.

I hope your week is going well. I'll see you all again soon! :)

  3. Both are absolutely stunning. I love the ticket background and the oval looks pretty darn good to me. The second one is just as pretty with the purple and turquoise combo. :)
