Hi everyone! Another night, another challenge. I was going through a shabby chic / vintage blog last night and I was in awe of all the cards there! I try to save the images of cards that I really love so I can go back to see them again when I need some inspiration. Tonight I wanted to try to make a vintage card myself. I hope it's close to being vintage! :) I used the sketch from Card Patterns 86. I saw that the deadline was for tomorrow and I didn't want to miss joining in on the fun. Here's the sketch.
Here's my vintage card! The patterned papers are from K & Company, aren't they just perfect for vintage cards? I dry embossed a vintage cream card using my new Provo Craft embossing folder. I love it! I've been inspired by so many crafters from blog land to purchase more embossing folders. Haha! I die cut the star using my Cricut Expression, then I adhered some glitter to it. The flower is from my stash. And the ribbon is from Sweetpea. I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!
This is very soft and pretty! The star is a great addition--I never think to add stars! The inked edges look fabulous, too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work! Those colors are lovely! Thanks for playing along with CP this week!
