I made the tag from vintage cream cardstock. Then I stamped some En Francais to make the background. The red patterned paper is from K & Company, I used my EK Success edge punch on it. I think the one I bought was a defective one, I have to get another one of it since I really love the look. The strip of patterned paper with the text is from October Afternoon. I love how the combination of texts came out.
If you look closely, the glittered star was cut out with the Cricut Expression. I put some adhesive on it and applied the glitter. The little snowflake is a punch from Martha Stewart. I just wanted to add it up there! :) The bigger snowflake is actually a sticker from Jolee's. I thought the star alone didn't do it justice. If I don't watch it and stop myself, I'll probably keep layering and layering on!!! Haha! :)
The red frame is the one I always use. It was cut out from light chipboard and inked. The ribbons are from Sweet Pea. I used the silvery white on the bottom and the red on top. I wasn't so sure about it in the beginning, but I tried it out and it looked great. The circular stamp beneath the frame, the little flourish on the side and the background where I stamped my sentiment on are all from Victorian Frippery. I wish I had more Waltzing Mouse stamps to use for this challenge. My other stamps didn't fit the profile. Hee! ;P Anyway, I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!
